The Turkey Weekend

This year for Thanksgiving aka Turkey weekend we went to Fillmore to spend some fun time with the Barnhursts. We had every kind of homemade food you could imagine. It was so good I think I gained ten pounds.

These are the pies that my wonderful husband made. Yes he made these from scratch. I can't believe how good they look but they even tasted better.

After Thanksgiving dinner we went to look at deer. I have never been so excited about looking at deer until I saw this buck. He is so crazy looking and if you can tell his horn is growing into his eye.

During the weekend we went to go get our Christmas tree. Dustin had already picked this one out during his hunt. He told me that it was the most perfectess tree he has ever seen. It was a pretty good one

So this is our Christmas tree after it has been decorated. Dustin has to have his tree by the window so people can see it.

These are showing the angels and stars Dustin got from his mission. They look so good on the tree and the people on his island made them. So that was our fun weekend we had.
